Rob Gronkowski was in touch with his former franchise over a return

While Rob Gronkowski had a distinctive request for an NFL return, the discussions of an NFL return were running wild before that. The former NFL TE was in touch with his former franchise, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, about a potential comeback.

According to Rick Stroud, the Buccaneers discussed potentially reuniting Rob Gronkowski with Tom Brady. The talks emerged around Thanksgiving.
