The friendship of Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady has come a very long way. From sharing the ball in New England Patriots to sharing the ball in Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a connection like theirs is nowhere else to be found.

Although it was Tom Brady who brought Rob out of his retirement and back in the league to win the Super Bowl yet again. However, Rob’s gameplay was still a little rustic last season, but in this season he certainly seems to be a viable playmaking option for the Buccaneers.

“I just can’t see him playing with another quarterback,” Chris said. “It’s tough to get that chemistry. It’s tough to win once you lose that QB.”

A rare connection

It is very difficult to make such connections with a quarterback as he did with Brady. And honestly, it is somewhat difficult to find a player like Brady too. In their match against the Cowboys this Thursday, their second touchdown connection placed the duo at the second position in the list of most pass touchdown connections in NFL history.

There is simply no match for it, the two players are like made for each other in the field. This type of connection can only be established after years of practice and playing together.

As far as retirement is concerned, by the look of Tom Brady’s form in the recent past. It suggests that he still has a lot to prove even at this age. And Gronkowski will certainly follow the veteran’s footsteps all along.
