Through an emotional Twitter post, he announced his final goodbye to his dream job opportunity, professional football. However, his New England Patriots teammates targeted him and asked him to ensure that this was his final retirement.

Previously, in 2019, Gronk announced his retirement but later made a comeback. This was primarily because Tom Brady signed with the Buccaneers. However, this time, it does not look like Gronk would have any incentive to return.

Gronk’s former Patriots teammate, Kyle Van Noy, reacted to his retirement announcement in a hilarious fashion. He said, “This better be the last time I say this!! Congrats on retirement, Rob Gronkowski!! Much love homie.”
