Is Aaron Rodgers the last of the greatest quarterbacks of his generation? If so, why was he advised to stay off this important debut? Not only did he bring the hype but also made an incredible effort to restructure the roster alongside his peers. Just last week, the 4x MVP made headlines for his generous pay cut of a whopping $35 million, which now relieves the team of any burden till next year, and allows them to bring in more players to the roster.

Aaron Rodgers misses out on a big debut

After almost 6 months after the Super Bowls concluded, the NFL community finally gets to witness a game on the gridiron. The annual Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio is set to take place today, featuring Browns and no other than Rodgers’ own team. Both teams have a lot at stake, hoping for their longest stint of reaching the Super Bowls. However, the Jets’ head coach took an unconventional way by not featuring any starters, including Aaron Rodgers, in this preseason game.

But there’s some good news as well, with Jets legends Joe Klecko and Darrelle Revis being included in the Hall of Fame festivities. Currently, the Jets are dominating the game, with their star QB seen in the commentary room. Zach Wilson, the former No. 2, is leading the Jets in the said game. He was initially drafted by the Jets in 2021. He will most likely spend the preseason being benched, while the 4x MVP takes the field very soon.

A-Rod goes into the season as one of the last of the greatest QBs in this generation

Although Rodgers’ debut might not have gone as expected, he still holds high regard as one of the greatest quarterbacks in the league. Now that football GOAT Tom Brady has retired, the 4x MVP has become the oldest active quarterback and is still kicking it in the field. Recently, power rankings have changed, and it’s rare to see older and younger quarterbacks together, leaving A-Rod as one of the remaining OGs.

Like Brady and Manning, Rodgers also decided to switch teams at the end of his career. The question is whether he can make an impact just like those former legends.
