The National Football League has set up an alliance with O’Shea Jackson, an artist par excellence who also goes by the name Ice Cube. Furthermore, the rapper also discussed his collaboration and his excitement about working with the NFL.
Ice Cube recently appeared on The Pat McAfee Show. McAfee gave him an electrifying welcome and briefed him regarding his partnership with the league. Moreover, during his appearance, the rap artist opened up about the project and expresses his gratitude for working with one of the most popular sporting leagues.
Ice Cube says, “As far as pressure, no. You know, I feel privileged to be in this position. To be able to initiate something like this. Troy Vinson and Roger Goodell really came at us and said, “Hey, you know what can we do in our business to help bridge this wealth gap?” and we came up with some great ideas. We connected them with some great businesses that‘s out there. They injected them into their chain of contracts and stuff like that, and we want to do more in the future.”

Ice Cube also mentions that it is currently only with the NFL. They would also want to communicate with the franchises. They would correspond with all the team members and try to accomplish the same goal. Then, reach out to other leagues, such as the NBA, to join and energize the black-owned enterprises.

What’s the aim of the Ice Cube x NFL Partnership?
Ice Cube is teaming up with the National Football League. The league has announced a partnership with Contract with Black America Institute, an economic-inclusion action plan led by Ice Cube. The NFL will join the rap artists’ pact to help black-owned enterprises and battle America’s expanding wealth disparity. Moreover, according to Forbes, the league has committed more than $100 million to causes that benefit the CWBA.

According to the agreement’s “Sports Industry Economic Development Plan,” the league and franchises would hire only black-owned groups for stadium food vendors. It requests that the NFL direct more employment to black businesses, including consumer information, production companies, and advertising infrastructure.
