RUMORS: Aaron Rodgers Sparks Trade Talks to Tennessee Titans After Building New Home in Nashville

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is really in the middle of making one of his most important decisions as an NFL player. Following an end to another season with no silverware, the reigning league MVP is in a tough spot. But if reports of him building a house in Nashville are true, the probability of Rodgers lining up in the green and yellow strip next season is on the fall.

The former Super Bowl champion reportedly shows a willingness to don the dark blue strip of the Titans in 2022. News about Rodgers and his plans in Tennessee was reported first by Jared Stillman from ESPN Nashville ‘102.5 The Game’. He also made claims that some of Rodgers’s Green Bay teammates believe that the Packers QB will not be returning to play in Wisconsin.

The Tennessee Titans become the latest NFL franchise to enter the fray for the NFL MVP as a potential destination. It will be a situation that will get a resolution before the Packers give out franchise tags within their roster.

The Packers provide the perfect place for Rodgers to achieve that dream. But constant failures in recent seasons have altered that line of thinking, leading to some doubt. The optics from the public eye suggest that Rodgers wants to stay on in Wisconsin.

But with the Titans, he will be part of a team with many weapons, which set him up for success. The Titans got eliminated from the NFL playoffs in 2021 because of some bad QB decision-making by Ryan Tannehill. Rodgers is the perfect fit for the scary offense with players like RB Derrick Henry and WR Julio Jones. Adding to these rumors are his construction in Nashville, which makes this pipedream for Titans fans a reality.

But recruiting Rodgers to Tennessee will not be an easy task, as there are other viable options. There has been interest from teams around the league for the soon-to-be consecutive NFL MVP. It will be an interesting situation to monitor following the end of the 2021 campaign.
