The Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson missed the fourth game of his entire 11-season career last week due to a hamstring injury. However, this setback doesn’t seem to keep him away from practicing and conditioning his body. While his presence for the upcoming week is questionable, with head coach Nathaniel Hackett leaving it to the game day, Wilson used those 8 hours inside the flight to treat his limbs.
While speaking to the reporters, the former Super Bowl champion gave this extra info in great spirits. He mentioned that for the first two hours; he watched the film and later went for physical activities while his teammates were sound asleep.
“The next four hours, I was doing treatment on the plane,” Wilson said to the reporters. “I was walking up and down the aisles. Everyone was knocked out. I was doing high knees and working on my legs end everything else, making sure I was ready to rock. So that was good.” He added. So far, the season has been terrible for Wilson with early jitters, and has registered a season record of 2-5 by the end of Week 7.
Wins are essential to keep their playoff aspirations alive. When asked if he would start the game, Wilson mentioned that he felt great and is ready to rock. However, this workout session didn’t seem to have gone well with the fans who continued trolling him online.
