Seattle Seahawks star quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara are known to be one of the most successful couples of the NFL. Their relationship has been in full bloom ever since they started dating in early 2015. They are exceptional partners not only in life but also in various of their ventures. However, Ciara suffered a lot before meeting Wilson. 

Before her meeting the NFL star, Ciara was known to be engaged with the famous rapper, Future. They had a relationship that spanned two years. And they both shared a son, which was also named Future. However, fate had other plans. The relationship between Future and Ciara grew bitter over time due to his “infidelity”.

The singer/entrepreneur Ciara opened up about her split with Future in The Red Table Talk. It was a painful revisit to her past, yet she faced it so boldly. It was definitely a tough phase for her life. Dealing with all the adversity along with being a mother of a newborn baby, is never an easy task.

“I’d have moments when I would be in the shower, I’d be crying,” she said. “I had a few different settings — crying in the bedroom, crying in the shower … crying because I’m not in the happiest place, and it hurts what I’m going through.”

It’s easy to assume that Ciara was in a tough spot. She was planning her wedding with Future, and clearly, everything was falling apart. Ciara had grown up in a home where her parents were together since her childhood. She wanted the same for her first-born son but then again fate had other plans.

Ciara grew cautious of her public image and had a tough time dealing with it. It was not the state she would have ever hoped to have ended up in. “‘I feel like I’m failing right now. Other people, they’re gonna roast me. Here they come in the comment section. I’m about to get fried,'” she felt.

Apparently, breaking up with Future was one of the hardest decisions she had to take in her life. However, soon after her split, she started dating the Seattle superstar Russell Wilson. And her life took a roundabout since that day. The two share a special relationship together, and their family is as lively as they can. 

Wilson and Ciara share two children together now, and her first-born son still lives with her. They plan to have more kids as Ciara loves being a mom.
