After setting the example of a perfect relationship for 13 long years, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen went their separate ways. The former power couple made headlines in 2022 as Bündchen filed for a divorce in the court of Florida, home to Brady’s then-NFL franchise, Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As invested as fans were in the relationship, the blame game has been wreaking havoc on both Brady and Bündchen’s lives. And looks like, recently it’s Brady’s time to get mocked.

The NFL is a narrative-driven business, but fans often tend to cross the line with outrageous assumptions and speculations. While Bündchen took a lot of the heat for her role in the separation, fans have now turned their attention to Tom Brady and the comments are far from kind.

Fans slam Tom Brady for losing a gem

It has been months since Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen went through a public divorce. Yet, fans refuse to let the two legends forget the pain they have been trying to put behind them. While Bündchen has transitioned back into her modeling days, taking over the fashion industry by storm, Brady has also been immersing himself into a busy life post-retirement. While Gisele’s message did resonate with many of her fans, there were some who were looking for an excuse to drag TB12 into the conversation and they did so rather successfully.

One fan commented, “I would choose you over my nfl dream”

While another added, “no she didn’t choose her dream. She left her career because of him and he didn’t do the same. He promised he would retire and didn’t keep his promise. Lost the best wife!”

The comments section soon turned into a Tom Brady bashing ceremony, as another fan added, “Sad that Tom did not understand the lifeline of the sacred feminine”

One fan even missed the fact that Bundchen was no longer Mrs. Brady, “Mrs. Brady , Lovely. You are born for everything that makes you happy ! Blessings”

However, there were a few who truly appreciated Bündchen than just hate on Brady, “Smart girl! Yessss! We are all connected!”

While most fans seemed to have missed Bündchen’s message preaching the importance of Mother Nature, the comments section once again reminded us why NFL athletes and their better halves refrain from engaging fans on the Internet, and frankly, we can’t blame them.

The Internet spewing lies

The circumstances leading to Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s divorce were shrouded in mystery. But the Internet did come with its fair share of speculations. There were multiple reports which stated that Brady unretiring from the NFL had pushed Gisele to take on the drastic step and that she simply had enough. Apparently, Bündchen presented an ultimatum to TB12, pushing him to choose between his family and his love for football.

Since then, Bündchen has denied these claims, labeling them as “very hurtful” and “the craziest thing I’ve ever heard.” Bündchen was aware of the Internet painting her as the “antagonist”, but the Brazilian Supermodel continued focusing on the thing most important to her: family while supporting Brady from afar.
