Jameis Winston ready to claim the starting QB spot

Winston has a tough battle ahead of him going forward. While he has shown in the past that he is a good thrower of the ball, he is very error prone.

Winston remains the only quarterback in NFL history to have thrown 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in the same season. Whereas, Taysom Hill has had more recent experience as the starting quarterback in the Saints’ system.

Last year, Drew Brees went down early in the season due to a rib injury. In his absence, Taysom Hill established himself as the favorite to be the starting quarterback.

Hill impressed the franchise officials greatly. And after Drew Brees was deemed fit, Hill would continue to get more minutes during the game to give Brees his rest.
