The NFL world underwent significant changes this season. Football GOAT, Tom Brady will no longer be seen on the gridiron, but probably in the owner’s lunge. And then the curious case of Aaron Rodgers, who no longer rules the NFC division, as per his transfer to the New York Jets. The 39-year-old quarterback, much like Brady, is almost at the end of his career, according to some, however, that is not the only similarity they have left.

If compared to TB12, Rodgers still has 6 years left in his tenure with the league, with diverse possibilities. Although the Jets’ QB doesn’t possess as many Super Bowls as the GOAT, he certainly has one-up with MVP awards. So the competition is fierce still, with a few similarities between them from here to there.

Did Rodgers start to look like Tom Brady?

Just last year, TB12 surprised everyone with an abrupt retirement announcement. At 44 years old, Brady wanted to focus on family and his endeavors, but then he decided to make a comeback for one last season, even amid marital issues. It was certainly one of the reasons the football GOAT looked thin and unfit in his final season. And to anyone’s surprise, an NFL reporter has come upon a striking resemblance to the 4x MVP.

Senior NFL reporter Albert Breer recently shared a video from the Jets’ recent press conference. The shared video is fairly normal with Rodgers speaking about the new environment in the Big Apple and how his younger teammates defiantly possess potential for the upcoming season. However, Breer had his eye on Rodgers’s physique and pointed out how he resembles TB12 exactly from the latter’s retirement days. He wrote, “Aaron Rodgers looks skinny here. Kind of in the same way Tom Brady did at the end of his career.

The 39-year-old quarterback still has football left in him. The Jets not only recruited the star QB in their team but also structured the whole roster around him. It’s no secret how he paved the way for the Packers, and he decided to rewrite history once more in the Big Apple. The once-forgotten team, that hasn’t won a Super Bowl trophy since the moon landing, now is one of the most ruthless teams in the AFC, no thanks to the 4x MVP. With the team’s latest signing, including WR Mecole Hardman, and RB Ty Johnson, Rodgers now has his own arsenal for the upcoming season.
