The flames only intensified when Aaron Rodgers, the Green Gang QB, struck back swiftly. During a live interview at the Jets training camp on NFL Network, Rodgers condemned Payton’s remarks as “way out of line” and “inappropriate.” He demanded that Payton refrain from mentioning his coaches’ names.

What did Payton say to ignite Rodgers’ wrath? “It’s not just Russell,” Payton exclaimed, “it was a (poor) offensive line. It might have been one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL. That’s how bad it was.” he passionately declared ex-Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett, poor.
