According to Bill Speros of Bookies.com, the calculations consider every NFL franchise’s road opponents this season, including the 5 international games. The figures suggest that the NFC West team, Seattle Seahawks, will be covering the most miles and are scheduled to travel nearly 29,446 miles in 2022.

The franchise will be moving through 34 time zones during this upcoming stretch and will be a challenging situation for their roster.

While the AFC North team, Pittsburgh Steelers, will be covering the fewest miles among all NFL franchises next season. They are scheduled to travel nearly 6,442 miles and will not be leaving the Eastern Time Zone even once. The Steelers will be hosting any team located in other time zones next season, in stark contrast to the fortunes of the Seahawks.

Apart from their contrasting travel mile numbers, both NFL franchises have similar trajectories that any of their fans might agree with. Both the Steelers and the Seahawks have lost their veteran QBs in Ben Roethlisberger and Russell Wilson, respectively. They will be entering the upcoming NFL campaign with new faces at their QB position and aiming to make the playoffs.
