Russell Wilson is without a doubt one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL today. The 31-year-old is entering his prime, according to him. And he is playing like it. He is a major reason for the Seattle Seahawks’ wonderful start to the season.
In just 10 games this season, Wilson has completed over 250 passes at a 70% completion rate. He has already thrown 30 touchdowns this season in just 10 games, averaging close to 3 touchdowns a game. He is well on course to beat his regular season-best for touchdowns thrown at 35.
Wilson continues to be one of the best players in the NFL, and his performances this season are genuinely garnering MVP considerations. Given the stellar numbers he’s having, the MVP conversations are completely justified.

Wilson’s numbers this season are even better than the 2013 season in which he took the Seahawks to the Superbowl. Should he and the Seahawks continue their string of good performances, there is no reason why they cannot make it back to the Superbowl this year.
After the game against the Cardinals, Seahawks Wide Receiver DK Metcalf spoke on the NFL post-game show. On the relationship he shares with Wilson, Metcalf praised him for being such a positive figure in the locker room.
