Ciara faced a lot of backlash for her yet-to-be-released song. Many fans took offense to the song. But the singer doesn’t mind ruffling some feathers on her way to success. And she always has Wilson to have her back.  Wilson has himself faced a lot of fan scrutiny after his first year as the Denver Broncos QB. He failed to deliver what he promised to the fans.

The Broncos QB’s struggles

The Broncos spent a fortune to get Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks. And they thought he would become the catalyst to take them to a Super Bowl title. But that dream didn’t last long. Wilson struggled to find form in Denver from the start and the Broncos ended the season with a dismal 5-12 overall record.

The Broncos QB finished the season with a dismal 16 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions. He threw 3,524 passing yards with a 60.5% completion rate. The record could have been even worse if he didn’t manage eight TDs in his last four games for the team.

Nathaniel Hackett lost his job as the franchise head coach due to the team’s dismal run. The franchise has now brought in the legendary Sean Payton to get the best out of Wilson next season. Will the QB’s fortunes change under the new coach? Fans can’t wait to find that out.
