Gambling is a serious issue in the NFL, and the league has recently taken steps to curb it among players and staff. The NFL has updated its strict gambling policy with six important rules that aim to prevent any conflicts of interest or integrity violations. To show how serious it is about enforcing these rules, the NFL has cracked down on five players who violated them during the 2022 season. Three of these players have been suspended indefinitely from playing in any games because they bet on NFL games that season. They are Quintez Cephus and C.J. Moore from the Detroit Lions, and Shaka Toney from the Washington Commanders.
