Sports fans often find themselves on an emotional roller coaster. TJ Watt, the Pittsburgh Steelers star linebacker, riled up his fans and followers when he posted a viral video to his Twitter, causing fans to hold their breath. Although Watt is a millionaire football player, he takes out the time to do his own housework, especially in the offseason. But a regular task nearly turned to disaster as Watt shared footage of his near miss. Just like any other day, Watt was preparing to clean his swimming pool as disaster nearly struck.

With his dog watching on, Watt lost his footing and crashed into his swimming pool, sending fear into the hearts of fans, as they watched him face down inside the pool. But fear not, Watt lived to tell the tale.

Although Watt’s fall could have proven to be much worse than it turned out, the Linebacker got out injury free. His only concern after falling into the pool: saving his phone from getting soaked. But fans weren’t nearly as unconcerned, especially after the recent heartbreaking news from a former teammate of Tom Brady, Shaquil Barrett. After Watt shared the video on Twitter, many fans were left with their jaw on the floor with concern.
