The Super Bowl party is in full effect at Shaquille O’Neal’s Fun House in Los Angeles. The NBA legend is throwing a wild weekend of football excitement to celebrate the big game. Amidst the partying and celebrating football, Shaq is also saddened by the fact that Tom Brady has retired.

The NFL legend just announced a few weeks ago that he will hang up his boots. It has shaken the world of not just football, but all sports. Shaq could not help but resemble himself with the GOAT. 

Shaq on the retirement of Tom Brady

Shaquille O’Neal was spotted in Los Angeles. He has been throwing a party almost as big as the Super Bowl itself. The extravaganza includes performances from various artists and a magnitude of other experiences. A midway carnival, A-list crowd, food and drinks, everything can be found in the Fun House. The big weekend couldn’t have gotten any bigger.

Before the party started, Shaq was doing a red carpet for the Fun House. During the event, he gave many interviews. Shaq was in the party mood, and he wanted everyone to have a great time. One of the reports was from Tampa. She asked O’Neal about the retirement of Tom Brady. Shaq said, “It’s a sad moment but, if guys like us could play forever, we would.” He adds, “But at some point you have to give it up and also for guys like us, we want to be able to look at our book and say, ‘I have a hell of a book’.”

Shaq was one of the greatest basketball players of all time, without a doubt. So he naturally connected with Tom Brady. This situation reminded O’Neal of himself. If GOATs like these could play forever, they definitely would.

Shaq jokingly told Brady to do one more year

Tom Brady announced his retirement on Instagram. He posed a detailed caption with pictures of his career. He thanked the franchise and the fans. It was a heartfelt moment.

Shaq also saw the post. Despite everyone being overwhelmed, the basketball legend decided to lighten the mood up a little. He commented, “No man, get your butt up and do one more year.” This comment was hilarious, and the fans loved it. Brady is still to reply to it, but the moment was hilarious.
