Before the party started, Shaq was doing a red carpet for the Fun House. During the event, he gave many interviews. Shaq was in the party mood, and he wanted everyone to have a great time. One of the reports was from Tampa. She asked O’Neal about the retirement of Tom Brady. Shaq said, “It’s a sad moment but, if guys like us could play forever, we would.” He adds, “But at some point you have to give it up and also for guys like us, we want to be able to look at our book and say, ‘I have a hell of a book’.”

Shaq was one of the greatest basketball players of all time, without a doubt. So he naturally connected with Tom Brady. This situation reminded O’Neal of himself. If GOATs like these could play forever, they definitely would.
