Rumors circulated on social media stating that the veteran fostered a ‘cheap’ relationship with his ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole. After months of speculation and his ex-GF herself breaking the silence, now Kelcee addressed the issue and publicly clarified his motives.

Money was exhibited as the primary reason behind their split. They dated for five years before calling it off last year. His fans all over the world roasted him online until the star wideout finally disclosed the exact scenario.

‘The Pivot Podcast’ often hosts some of the dignified personalities in the sports fraternity. Interestingly, the Chiefs star appeared on the recent episode and spoke on diverse topics, including his private life. As one could expect, his past relationships remained a highlight of the entire session. When asked about the reality of those rumors, he quashed them in the first place and asked why he would do anything like that.

“How crazy is that? Don’t buy into that s-t!” Kelce said to the panelists consisting of Channing Crowder, Fred Taylor, and Ryan Clark. “I would never say that I was supporting her. She had a very financially stable life and what she was doing in her career,” he added.

“You’ve got to be crazy if you think I’d never helped or gave her a couple of dollars to grab some food or she gave me some money… We were in a relationship for five years. A hundred dollars here and hundred dollars there wasn’t even thought about, which is ridiculous,” he added.

Indeed, the veteran does not need to be a miser to save his wealth because the star has amassed enough to secure his retirement life. In the past 10 seasons, Kelce earned $64 million and will cash another $42.5 million in the next three seasons.

The duo mingled together in 2017 and officially began dating each other. It was a fairytale for them, watching the celebrity couple enjoying life until last year, they mutually decided to part ways.

Speculators brewed theories suggesting that Kelce had only spent $100 during this entire period. He used to make his partner pay half the bill and never spend extra on anything else. It turns out the narratives were baseless allegations to defame the star.

A few months back, Nicole herself came forward to clarify these theories. “Not sure where y’all got this nonsense from, but it’s absurd and very false,” she said, per the New York Post, retweeting an article from Barstool Sports. It will be interesting to see if they get back again and develop feelings for each other.
