The Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers used his time off in his darkness retreat to detach from this technological driven world. According to Rodgers, the time off in darkness helped him to reevaluate his own life and find light regarding his relationships and career in the future.

 In what seems to be like a wake-up call for the quarterback, it seems that Aaron Rodgers is reshuffling his priority list after spending four days and four nights in complete isolation. So what new light did Rodgers discover during his time of introspection?

Aaron Rodgers opens up about self-revelation after his darkness retreat

In a recent interview with Aubrey Marcus, Aaron Rodgers opened up about how his darkness retreat was just not about figuring out his career. The 39-year-old QB used this time to reflect on other things in life, which included his relationships and friendships. After an unsuccessful relationship because of his commitment towards football, Rodgers might be feeling that it is time to focus on a more holistic approach towards the life he lives.

He said, “There was a lot of great contemplation on the first day. A lot of lessons around how I show up in the world, how I show up in my relationships and friendships. There was definitely some interesting insights around my childhood and things that happened in my childhood that i was able to sit with and heal”.

The Packers quarterback is still to finalize his future in the NFL. After dedicating 18 years to the Green Bay Packers, he still has to decide how his future will look in the NFL.
