Being a young athlete is hard. It is even more difficult for the athletes who lead their teams. Simone Biles, the leading gymnast of Team USA, and Tom Brady, the lead QB of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, may have nothing in common in their sports. But they both are extremely popular and successful in their respective fields. Brady even commended the strength of Biles for doing something he could never have done when he was a 24-year-old.

He elaborated and explained that it is difficult to face life when one gets a certain “degree of success.” Things are constantly developing in the lives of young athletes. There are challenges in life, but rising and facing those challenges is what the QB advised.

A ray of hope
The seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback hoped for the gymnast to rise stronger and better than before. According to him, he wishes for the experience to make people more self-aware and manage them in the healthiest way possible.
Also, he acknowledged that it is more difficult for athletes in individual sports than for those who play in a team. As team members help their teammates, however, individual athletes help themselves out on their own.
