According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Jackson will test his knee pretty soon during the practice sessions. Then, he will decide whether he will play for the Ravens for the rest of the season. However, the 25-year-old quarterback could decide to play for the Ravens if they feel they have a great chance to get the no.1 seed in the AFC North division.

Notably, after this season, Jackson will become a free agent, as the Ravens did not offer him a new contract. Hence, many fans are urging Jackson to sit out for the remaining season unless he gets a new contract.

If the Ravens see a chance of getting the no.1 spot, they will most likely let Jackson play in the remaining games. On the other hand, Jackson is also in a dilemma regarding his contract situation with the Baltimore franchise. That’s why NFL fans want Jackson to negotiate his contract first with the Ravens before he plays for them again this season.
