Small railroad town leads to big things

The highest-paid player in the history of the NFL’s grandmother was born in a small East Texas town by the name of Overton. She lived most of her life in and around the town itself. Randi Mahomes visited Overton at the festivity, with the town celebrating its 150th anniversary since being founded. She posted a story on her Instagram about the merriments which she attended with family members.

Randi, though, was in a cheerful mood as she attended the celebrations at Overton, where the town held a car show, performances, and a parade. Patrick Mahomes was understandably missing as he trained ahead of his first game on the road this season against the Jacksonville Jaguars, set to take place tonight.

The Two-time Super Bowl winner would love to get back to winning ways after losing the first game against The Lions. Especially after the squad will be bolstered by the addition of Chris Jones and Travis Kelce. Both of whom missed the season opener. What’s your take on it?
