Sneakerhead QB Patrick Mahomes Collaborates With Marvel’s Black Panther as Adidas Announces New Footwear

When it comes to brand endorsements, the Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is one of the most popular personalities in the NFL world. He has had several dealings in the past with some of the biggest brands in the country. Recently, the signal-caller has vowed to release a sneaker series with Three Stripes inspired by Chadwick Boseman’s Marvel character Black Panther.
King T’Challa, is the symbol of strength and one of the morally enlightened characters in the Marvel world. From Jackie Robinson to Thurgood Marshall to James Brown, all were masterpieces from Boseman. The Black Panther enactment was another feather to his diverse set of characters.

Being one of the unique superheroes, Mahomes decided to release a dedicated series ahead of the Black Panther II this November.
After signing an agreement with Adidas last year, this Black Panther edition is expected to attract a large number of customers, as the entire design of this series is inspired by Boseman’s outfit in the movie, Black Panther.
With a combination of black and violet colors, the sleek gives a sense of the midnight appearance of the superhero. The outer sole is completely violet in color, and the laces mimic the shine of vibranium.

Those three stripes in gold above the silky back background make it a top choice for every Marvel fan. Meanwhile, this project has increased Patrick Mahomes’ brand value in the shoe world even more.

Back in 2020, the sneaker giant collaborated with the NFL superstar to work out a deal. They started releasing Mahomes’ signature series throughout the time of engagement. Their partnership began after unveiling a logo to represent the series. The primary one is the gladiator mask.

“The gladiator mask in my logo represents the mindset of making an impact every single day. Whether it’s training in the gym, on-field practice, or a game day – that’s always my mentality,” Mahomes said. The next one on the line was ‘Always 2 PM’, a secondary logo symbolizing Patrick Mahomes II.

Just like sneakers, Mahomes has a partnership deal with eyewear giant Oakleys. Every year their campaign begins with Mahomes announcing an induction of a new signature series. Every year he makes millions of dollars from such dealings, marking him as one of the highest-paid athletes.
