During The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Eli Manning discusses dressing up as Chad Powers to try out for the Penn State football team. He also discussed an instance where a Store owner mistook him for Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.

Eli Manning mentioned, “Not too long ago, this summer, I’m taking the girls fishing, and we’re kind of driving. I pull over to get some water, get some snacks, go into a store. And, you know, I get to the counter, and the guy looks at me and goes, ‘Are you who I think you are?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, I think so.’ He goes, ‘Oh, my gosh! Michael Phelps is any store!’ He’s like, ‘Everybody, come out! It’s Michael Phelps!’ I’m like, ‘Whoa. No, no, no. No, no, no. I’m not Michael Phelps.’ He’s like, ‘So you lied to me?’”

It is hilarious how people mistakenly identify the two-time Super Bowl champ as the olympian god. Additionally, if one observes Manning’s expressions while speaking, one could see that it has not happened once but multiple times.
