Tom Brady has already cemented himself as the greatest quarterback of all time. However, the start of his football career wasn’t easy. He was a very late draft pick and wasn’t the most highly regarded player during his college and high school days.

Back in 2005, Tom Brady revealed all the things that have kept him motivated in his life. Brady talked about how he was often overlooked at every place he went. It eventually fueled the fire within him to prove everyone wrong.
Talking about it, Brady said, “I mean it’s, it’s never come easy for me, it’s never. I don’t think my mind allows me to rest everywhere for things to come easy because I have I think a chip on my shoulder and some deep scars that I don’t think will heal because I was always the person who was always trying…”

Tom Brady was able to prove everyone wrong. Heading into his 23rd season, Brady is still among the top quarterbacks in the league. It is proof of his greatness, as he continues to define his legacy.

Tom Brady had a great start to his NFL career
Tom Brady was drafted with the 199th overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft. When a player is picked so late in the draft, there are barely any expectations set for that player. The gamble that the New England Patriots decided to take with Brady turned out to be their best decision ever.

By 2005, Brady had already won three Super Bowls with the franchise. That was a great start to the career of Tom Brady, and he became an icon of the sport. Since then, Brady has added four more Super Bowl wins to his resume. There is a high possibility that we might not see a player like Brady play ever again. Due to it, we should cherish his greatness while he is still playing.
