The Jacksonville Jaguars had a rough season this year, especially for the rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence. His first year in the NFL proved to be a complete disaster. Since leading an injury-hit squad, the Jaguars have the worst scoring offense in the league this season.

Lawrence in his debut season has thrown for 10 touchdowns with 17 interceptions. Out of that two touchdown passes and eight interceptions have come after their Week 7 bye. And since the bye week, the Jaguars have averaged just over 11 points a game. However, the rookie stays positive and hopeful for the upcoming 2022 season.

Trevor Lawrence to the Jacksonville Jaguars fans

Despite the rough season, Trevor Lawrence lifts the spirit of Jaguars fans by telling them that he has a strong belief in the team and himself, and they would achieve great things in the future seasons. He adds that he believes it deep down and knows it’s coming. 

He further elaborates on the way he has “grown” this season. He says that he has learned to keep faith even in the face of lost games and “a lot of drama.”

He says, “I know there’s some really good days ahead,” he further adds, “I’m excited to experience that with whoever’s a part of those teams in the future. This city, these fans… this place deserves it. I’m excited for that. I know it’s going to come.”

No matter how hard has the quarterback hit rock bottom in his very first season. He still hopes for a better tomorrow and that is a great attribute for a leader. Even though the season wasn’t great enough for the Jaguars he still knows that they will rise their way up next season.

The Jaguars now head towards the season finale which they will be playing against the 9-7 Indianapolis Colts in the EverBank Field.
