An NFL Hall of Famer has added his voice to the call for fair pay for running backs. The 50-year-old ex-RB thinks that quarterbacks, who are very important in the NFL, can help make a difference by asking for running backs to be paid more. He even raised his voice against the odd situation in NFL for the RB position.

Broncos’ ex-RB Terrell Davis has two sons, Jackson and Myles, who both play football. Notably, Myles wants to be a great running back like his dad. However, Davis is already upset because he thinks that top NFL running backs are not being paid as much as they should be. He wants to help them get fair treatment and also revealed why RB was used to being paid well.

Terrell Davis says that right now, running backs have to fight for better pay on their own, often using social media to speak out. Davis wants them to have more support. When Davis played from 1995 to 2001, being a running back was good because The more you played, that’s how you earned the bigger paycheck,’’ said Davis.

But now, things have changed and even if running backs play well, they don’t always get paid more. This makes Davis upset because he thinks it’s not fair that running backs are seen as having short careers.

Some examples of this problem are Josh Jacobs from Las Vegas not playing until he gets more money, Tony Pollard from Dallas agreeing to play for one year even though he doesn’t want to, and Dalvin Cook having a hard time getting a good offer. The winds seem to be shifting, however, as players come together to tackle this issue.
