The Oregon Ducks TE was involved in a horrible accident that occurred near Lake Triangle in Oregon last year. The 22-year-old TE tragically lost his life in the accident. A multi-talented athlete, he would have entered his junior season for the Ducks this fall. But life does not go as planned sometimes.
His girlfriend was pregnant when he passed away. She recently gave birth to a baby boy and named him after her late boyfriend.

Kelly Kay gives birth to a baby boy
Spencer Webb will always be remembered by his college and his team. His performance on the field will echo through every time the Ducks play at the Autzen Stadium. Almost 270 days after his passing, Webb’s girlfriend, Kelly Kay gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.
In an effort to honor the memories of Spencer Webb, Kelly decided to name her baby boy after her deceased boyfriend. In a sweet gesture of remembrance, Kelly Kay named the newborn Spider Webb. Spider was Spencer Webb’s nickname. Family and close friends called him by his nickname. Now his girlfriend’s newborn son will continue carrying on his memories while carrying on his name.
It’s been roughly 9 months since Oregon Tight End Spencer Webb tragically passed away.

Last year has been difficult for Kelly. Losing a loved one is something no one wishes to go through. And to lose the love of your life is a long battle with grief that she will be fighting with the support of her family and friends, and now with her baby boy.

The tragic demise of Spencer Webb
The Oregon Ducks’ TE tragically passed away last year in July. According to reports, Webb suffered a head injury after a fall down a steep trail in Triangle Lake. They found him unresponsive 100 feet down the trail. Being cited as an accident, his untimely death left everyone around him shattered. Even his HC Dan Lanning took to Twitter to grieve the demise of his TE, whom he adored so much.
