Both Patrick and Davis have known each other since they were teammates at Texas Tech in their collegiate days, and have remained the closest buddies ever since. Moreover, Webb acknowledges that he, along with Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor, used to FaceTime Mahomes to go through notions of various Kansas City plays and details over Mike Kafka; another friend of the Chiefs QB.

Davis Webb told the Breaking Big Blue Podcast, mentioning, “I’ve face timed Pat a couple of times, asking for his opinions with Daniel sitting next to me. And Tyrod [there]. Just trying to get some insight on some plays.”

In 2021, the New York Giants offense was atrocious. They stood the NFL’s second-to-last. Because of their woeful performance, the franchise laid off the entire coaching staff and mounted some new mentors. The Giants’ offense in 2022 might be a delightful surprise.
