If statistics were a measure of success, Philip Rivers would be one of the leading men in the NFL. Despite never winning a super bowl in a glittering career that spanned almost 2 decades with the Chargers and Colts. Rivers has seldom popped up in the conversation for the best QBs in the league alongside Aaron Rodgers and Co. More so for the numbers, that he’d put up on the pitch while representing his side.

Aaron Rodgers is one of many QBs beaten by Rivers

The Jets man may have won a Super Bowl with his former team, Green Bay Packers. But in a recent tweet, Rookie Watch demolished many top QBs with the stats that back up Rivers and his claim to the Hall of Fame. They’d go as far as to say that he is eligible for his stake in 2026, just 3 years from now.

NFL Rookie Watch highlighted some of the top stats produced by Rivers in the NFL and why they believe him to be one of the best. In a career spanning 17 years, he outdid Dan Marino, John Elway, and Warren Moon for passing yards at 63,440. To add to the sheer achievement, he managed more passing yards per game than Jet’s QB A-Rod and others including Brett Favre, and Jim Kelly. He’d beat Joe Montana alongside others for contributing 421 passing TDs. The numbers keep piling up the deeper the fans try to dive in.

Whether Rivers has the chance to enter the Hall of Fame 3 years down the line is something too early to ponder. But it can be safely assumed that he has beaten A-Rod and many others in the league in the QB position for the numbers he’d put up. And he is putting up the numbers in his personal life as well, adding yet another family member to their home.

The former Chargers man recently stirred the news after announcing the impending arrival of their 10th child. Philip and Tiffany are expecting their 10th child later this year. From a marriage that has lasted longer than his career in 22 years, the couple felt it was time to bring a new life into this world. They announced it in an interview with AL.com and said, “….we decided to go double-digits…”

While Rivers has managed to hit double digits for children, he had already left his mark in NFL. Many now realize and admit the sheer numbers he posted in a fruitful career. And it only needed a Super Bowl cherry on top which never came.
