Even if he doesn’t return to the NFL, AB can look back at his career and be proud of it. He is a Pittsburgh Steelers legend and a Super Bowl champion. Nobody can take that away from him. However, there is one thing left that he would have loved to do in the NFL.

Back in 2014, Antonio Brown was asked about his favorite team growing up. The former Bucs WR answered it and said it was the Dallas Cowboys. AB didn’t play for the Cowboys in his career, and he wanted to play for them.

In March 2022 Brown had expressed his desire to play for the Cowboys. He said, “Maybe Jerry Jones thinks it looks sexy that I’m putting out all this motivation and all this hard work and encouragement. Maybe he want(s) to harness some of that energy,” Unfortunately that didn’t work out as the Cowboys apparently didn’t want him on board.

Jerry Jones thought the Cowboys were good enough without Brown. Jones avoided getting into trouble with having AB on the team. There is no senior player on the Cowboys’ team that could’ve handled Brown. As a result, they decided to stay away from him, and Brown didn’t get a chance to play for his favorite team.
