The entire entertainment industry is at a halt after what just happened live on stage during the Oscars. After Chris Rock delivered a joke about Will Smith’s wife, the actor walked down the stage and slapped the comedian. Many people were in disbelief at what they saw. But nobody was more fired up than Stephen A. Smith. 

The Sports journalist took to Twitter to express his displeasure about the situation. He is taking no prisoners and going all out on Will Smith. But while doing so, Stephen has been tagging the wrong Will Smith.

The comedian Chris Rock was presenting the best documentary award. But while doing so, he decided to have some fun. Rock tried to make some jokes while he was on stage. One of those jokes came at the expense of Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

The joke did not sit well with the crowd knowing Jada’s condition. Will Smith was having none of it. He walked on the stage and smacked Chris Rock live on air. Everyone was shocked at what had just happened. American sports personality Stephen A. Smith was not pleased with the incident. He released a series of tweets after the Oscars.

Stephen believes that Will Smith should not have done that. He was in disbelief that this was real. “Please tell me I didn’t see what I just saw. Somebody, please tell me.” Wrote Stephen in one of his tweets. He also wrote, “Total B.S. If it were [Dwayne Johnson] or someone like that instead of [Chris Rock] would he have done that shit!” 

Well, he raises a good question here. We doubt that Dwayne Johnson would crack such a joke. But even if he did, Will Smith wouldn’t probably slap a former WWE champion. 

Stephen takes it out on the wrong Will Smith

The actions of Will Smith enraged Stephen A. Smith. So much so that the analyst didn’t even know he was tagging the wrong Will Smith. The account he was tagging belonged to a co-host of Brad, and Will made a Tech Podcast. This Will Smith actually has the Twitter handle @willsmith. The actor Will Smith’s Twitter is @RealWillSmithFP. The NFL insider Ian Rapoport even stepped in to pray for the wrong Will Smith.

Stephen probably did not know that. He has been raging on and on to the Tech Will Smith. The sports journalist had a lot to say to the actor. But the ‘Real’ Will Smith might not see his tweets.
