Kevin Stefanski’s Cleveland Browns were condemned to their second loss of the season on Sunday. The Mike Tomlin-led Pittsburgh Steelers made their way to a comfortable 38-7 win over Cleveland at the Heinz Field over the weekend. And once again, at the center of it all was the former #1 draft pick, Baker Mayfield.
Mayfield threw for 119 yards with 1 TD and 2 interceptions. He was sacked 4 times before being replaced by backup QB Case Keenum.
After yet another dismal outing in the league, popular American sportscaster Stephen A. Smith has grown tired of Mayfield and his antics.

Here’s what the outspoken Stephen A. Smith said on the subject.
“I’ve given up, I think Cleveland should give up. I think the Browns should give, I think the city should give up. Enough is enough….Kevin Stefanski was doing a great, great job of taking the ball out of Baker Mayfield’s hand. The more he threw, the more ineffective he was.
“Remember that first interception, the pick-six, you’re talking about three plays into the game. That’s scripted plays and this dude throws a pick-six. He’s not ‘The Dude’,” Smith said on the show.

Mayfield, in particular, looked lost in the game and was eventually benched in the second half. He has come under massive criticism of late, especially after Sunday night’s display.
Mayfield was playing through an apparent chest injury; however, that only goes so far as an excuse considering how the team medical personnel did give him a green flag to play. Regardless, the third-year quarterback retained the faith of coach Kevin Stefanski.
