Travis Kelce may be winning it all as a TE for the Kansas City Chiefs, but there is still a romantic void he is yet to find answers to. And ever since breaking up with his girlfriend of five years last year, Kelce has been on his voyage of finding love once again. He’s been linked with a few women in the past few months, from rap icon Megan Thee Stallion to TV personality Zuri Hall. But none of these rumors have come out to be true and official, as fans are still waiting to see the 33-year-old TE find the love of his life.

Amidst this romantic voyage, his former flame has also been single. And she recently shared a thought-provoking post that seems to be a part of her journey of healing from breaking up with her long-term NFL boyfriend.

Kayla Nicole shares words of wisdom as she embarks on the journey of healing

While it’s been a while since Kayla Nicole and Travis Kelce broke up, the scars of the breakup seem to be still fresh in the mind of the model. The duo had quite the on-again-off-again relationship, which also brought in a lot of criticism from fans in the past. When they officially broke forever, reports emerged that it was because the Kansas City Chiefs TE made her pay half of everything. But Kelce went on to deny these rumors later on. And now, Nicole went on to share some words of wisdom with her fans on social media.

In one of her recent Instagram stories, we see the model share a post that talks about how people do not try to force others to see them the way they want to after healing. The post went on to talk about how we will find more solace in choosing ourselves, even if others don’t. “As you heal, you’ll stop trying to force people to see you in ways they’re unwilling to. You’ll remember more often  that choosing yourself is sacred even if others don’t,” is what the post read.

Travis Kelce feels that he is worth more

During a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the Chiefs’ TE opened up about how he could be making more if he decided to leave the team. Kelce signed a four-year $57.25 million contract extension in 2020, which means he gets paid around $14 million annually. Kelce went on to talk about Tyreek Hill’s contract with the Miami Dolphins and how he earns $30 million a year. But Kelce further clarified how he is happy where he was, as he gets the chance to be a part of a Super Bowl-worthy team who recently also won the Super Bowl LVII. “I love winning, I love the situation I’m in” is what the TE said when talking about the Chiefs and his teammate.
