Tom Brady, arguably the most accomplished QB in the NFL, finally departed the game after a 23-year-long career. But as TB12 moves on, his team will have to pick up right where he left off. However, the team needs a QB to fill in the shoes of a legend. While it’s not easy to replace a seven-time Super Bowl champion, but the Buccaneers will have to try their best.

Seahawks GM John Schneider had a say in the matter. According to a report from the league, the GM is “not worried”. Schneider said, “Obviously, Dave has a great relationship with Drew [Lock] and Geno. Shoot, he did a great job working with Geno (and) staying after practice with Drew.” He added, “Free agency doesn’t start until the middle of March so there’s a huge period here where we have time to work through things.” While the free agency hasn’t commenced yet, there’s no doubt the team has already given thought to the most advantageous possibilities.

Leading the Seahawks and overcoming the odds, Smith’s comeback has been nothing short of spectacular. As he hits free agency, how do the chances of the QB being lured to Tampa Bay look? Given his close bond with Canales, it’s not a far-fetched theory. But after the successful season he’s had, perhaps Smith will look towards hopefully continuing on his upward trajectory in Seattle.
