Buccaneers HC Bruce Arians Reveals His Plans for Tom Brady Starting in Next Preseason Tie

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to run it back in 2021. Winning Super Bowl LV in emphatic fashion against the Kansas City Chiefs, the side showed that led by quarterback Tom Brady, they are no pushovers.
But for the defending champions, preseason hasn’t panned out quite as they would’ve liked. In their opening tie, the Buccaneers lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 19-14.

While Tom Brady only played two snaps, one of them resulted in a sack. With their next game coming up against the Tennessee Titans, Arians revealed whether or not we’ll see the likes of Brady and other key starters again during that game.

Arians said that he doesn’t expect Brady to suit up for the side’s game against the Tennessee Titans. “We probably won’t play any starters,” Arians said via ESPN.
The Head Coach’s decision shouldn’t come as a surprise. Brady, 44, enters the 2021 NFL season after following a knee surgery. It was recently revealed that the QB had played the entirety of the 2020 NFL season with a torn MCL.

Thus with Brady being the heart and soul of the offense, it’s understandable why Arians doesn’t wish to take any chances following his O-Line’s gaff last week around.
