LeSean McCoy was brought in by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the build-up to the 2020 NFL season. The former Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills running back has been around the league since 2009. Back in 2013, ‘Shady’ McCoy led the NFL in rushing yards (1,607).

He set individual single-season rushing yard record for the Philadelphia Eagles that previously stood for 34 years. At present, he has 11,102 rushing yards to his name in addition to 75 rushing touchdowns. He was part of the Kansas City Chiefs squad that won the Super Bowl in 2019.
And now, he’s done it again. That too, with minimum effort.

On Sunday night, Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers made their way to a convincing 9-31 win over defending champions Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. A large chunk of Chiefs’ fans and former players were disappointed with the result. But 32-year-old LeSean McCoy wasn’t one of them.
In fact, he was celebrating along with his Buccaneers teammates having won his second consecutive Super Bowl ring, with minimum ease. McCoy did not play a single snap in Super Bowl LIV and LV respectively. But he was a crucial part of the squad on both occasions. Over the years, LeSean has become a mentor in the dressing room as was evident in the Bucs’ run to the Super Bowl this season.

The arrival of former Carolina Panthers star Leonard Fournette in Tampa Bay limited McCoy’s opportunities in the middle. He was third on the squad depth chart behind Fournette and Ronald Jones. LeSean finished the season with 31 yards on 10 carries in regular season.
