Tom Brady Announces Exciting NFT Collaboration With The Weeknd

Tom Brady is having yet another brilliant season with Bruce Arians-coached Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The veteran NFL quarterback and his team are on track to defend their Super Bowl title in 2021. The Bucs are 5-1 heading into Week 7 of the ongoing season.

While football and championship rings remain a priority for the 44-year old, Brady is also renowned for his business acumen. The 7-time Super Bowl winner was one of the first global sports icons to jump on the NFT bandwagon in 2021. His company, Autograph, is dealing exclusively with NFTs boasting a list of stars including NHL legend, Wayne Gretzky.

Now, they’ve taken their roster to a whole new level adding arguably the biggest music icon of the current decade.

“As an artist, I am always compelled to push the boundaries of how to deliver art within culture and have been intrigued with NFTs for some years. I was eager to join [Autograph] in launching a new vertical in the music space that explores what the metaverse could be,” the weekend said via an official statement.

The Weeknd was the headline performer at Super Bowl LV earlier this year. He put on a spectacular halftime show as Brady and the Bucs went on to win the game in epic fashion. Maybe that’s where these two personalities first kicked it off? Well, game recognises game, that’s all we’ll say.
