There was great excitement ahead of 43-year-old Tom Brady’s first game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last weekend. The same could not be said after the game ended, though. The Drew Brees-led New Orleans Saints condemned Tom Brady and the Bucs to a 34-23 defeat on Sunday.

Although Brady performed to his usual high standards, it was not enough to carry his team to glory. The three-time NFL MVP completed 23 of his 36 passes and threw for 239 yards. Besides that, Brady threw two interceptions and a pick-six midway through the game.

“So we’re going to take all that in stride. We know he’s going to be better. I’m going to be better, Mike’s going to be better. We’ll all be better moving forward because we’re going to learn from these mistakes and, we’re going to get better. Our chemistry is going to improve.

“We’re going to just keep growing as a team. We have a lot of room to grow and we’re going to keep doing it,” Godwin said at a recent press meet.
