After impressing with Poly Prep High School and the University of Georgia, the Brooklyn-born youngster was drafted by AFC South franchise Tennessee Titans in the 1st-round (29th overall). However, his debut season in the NFL has not been up to the mark.
Wilson featured in just one game for the Titans over the course of the 2020 NFL season. Late Monday night reports confirmed that the Brian Flores-coached Miami Dolphins have secured a trade for the highly regarded youngster.

Miami buying very low on Wilson, who had a lot of off-the-field issues as a rookie. I heard Miami liked Wilson last year & he went to Brian Flores’ HS in Brooklyn.

Still 22, Wilson has major room for improvement. However, his off-field problems could prove as a stumbling block in light of his struggles from 2020.
While at a party on the Tennessee University Campus last August, an Associated Press report stated that the player went to the second-floor balcony, where he appeared briefly to consider jumping after police personnel arrived at the location in response to complaints. Following that incident, Wilson was arrested and charged with a DUI in September 2020.
The Dolphins will reportedly take a $4 million cap hit with respect to Wilson (that is, if he remains beyond the 2021 season). As per Dolphins Wire, if they cut him off the roster in 2022, the Dolphins would take a $2,755,426 cap hit, which is minuscule in comparison to the bigger picture. At less than $1.2m a year and a 7th-pick, the Miami-based franchise secured a smart deal with respect to Isaiah.
