Aaron Rodgers falters again on Thursday Night Football, facing a terrible defeat against the Tennessee Titans. It was a close knock, with both teams going toe-to-toe until the fourth-quarter debacle for Rodgers and Co. Fans couldn’t control their emotions and flooded the social media platforms with crazy memes.

With this loss, the Packers have gone down 4-7 being placed second in the NFC North below the formidable Vikings. This week Rodgers entered the Lambeau field with the confidence of snapping his five games losing streak and a great win against the Cowboys.

However, the Titans didn’t let him go with a smile, instead handed him a ticket for a better draft pick next year. The quarterback admitted that he missed a lot of chances, especially in the fourth quarter.

A lot of inaccurate throws sailing above the open wide receivers added more worries to his comeback intentions. “I’ve got to throw the ball better than I did tonight,” Rodgers said to the reporters in the post-game press conference.

“I felt like fundamentally I was in a good spot. I just didn’t have the same type of consistent grip and ball coming out the same way, i threw a lot of wobblers tonight,” he added before blaming the wind for playing a big role in his missed passes to Sammy Watkins and Allen Lazard.

Regardless, A-Rod connected 24-for-39 for 227 yards and registered two touchdowns. In the first quarter, the Packers leveled the score with a TD; however, missed scoring an extra point.

Thereafter in the second quarter, they had to settle with a field goal, and a third-quarter eight points addition was all Rodgers, and the team could score.

All credit to rookie wide receiver Christian Watson who has been phenomenal in the last two games. He connected for three touchdowns against the Cowboys and two this week. Anyways the final result was not in the Packers’ favor.

In the press conference, Rodgers remained confident and vowed to win the remaining six games of the season. Even if he gets to that mark, it will be interesting to see how the Packers secure their playoff berth. Especially when the Vikings are in no mood to budge from their No 1 spot.
