This is a good yet bad season opener for the Dallas Cowboys, as one of their best players has yet to fall again amid the victories. The 25-year-old Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs faced an unfortunate incident. This upset during practice could result in a major game turn for the team. 

The Dallas Cowboys are still carrying their legacy forward winning both games played. But with a valuable player like Diggs leaving the season early, will the Cowboys hold the same sensation they’re enjoying now?

In a post by Rap Sheet, Trevon Diggs encountered an injury during a 1-1 practice drill session, resulting in an ACL tear in his left knee. The All-Pro cornerback is confirmed to sit out of this season’s games. Diggs left the field on crutches, leaving behind thousands of concerned fans.

Fellow Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott took to the media on Thursday, saying, “Some of you saw him leaving the field so prayers for him; simple as that.” The injury report was followed by torrents of comments from fans who aren’t “digging” this news well. Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons backs him up in his post, saying, “I am my brothers keeper! I got you 7! No more needs to be said!

The 2021 NFL record-breaker, with 11 interceptions, led his team to three out of seven defensive wins over the last two games. Being a valuable player in the team, fans fear that his absence on the field can off-balance the team’s chemistry.

The two-time Pro Bowl winner takes the news kindly and shows his appreciation for fans.

The Dallas Cowboys had a good start to the season, beating the New York Jets and New York Giants and securing an overall 60 points. But the upsets came through player injuries. Trevon Diggs was supposed to play a crucial role alongside fellow cornerback and Super Bowl champion Stephon Gilmore.

Diggs’ popularity with his fans is apparent in their grief and best wishes for a speedy recovery. The report grieved many fans with them saying things like-
