In addition, Asher Roth charts down the struggles his favorite team had to go through last season. Despite facing problems with Jimmy Garoppolo’s injury, the 49ers finished third in the NFC West division. However, it gave rise to their rookie QB, who will likely start in the 2022 season.

In the 2021 campaign, Garoppolo sustained an injury to his calf during a game against the Seahawks. As a result, Lance suddenly found himself in the starting position with limited experience and skills yet to be developed at the highest level. However, this did not hold him back from delivering a performance promising him a position as a team starter.

The QB scored five touchdowns and two interceptions, completing 603 yards. Since the athlete is starting this year, he would hope to justify his draft with better numbers.
