The Blind Side dispute continues to rumble on following the latest developments. The poster child of the Oscar-winning movie, Michael Oher, has been in the news following controversial reveals. After filing a petition in the courts of Tennessee, Oher has been visibly distraught because of the alleged experiences he had to endure. With the family at odds, the Tuohys have come forward to share their thoughts.

The last couple of days have witnessed quite a few words shared with the media from the Tuohy side. The latest member of the family to speak up is none other than Oher’s step-sibling.

Step-brother empathizes with Michael Oher

While Oher has accused the Tuohys of some serious allegations regarding the conservatorship debacle. His adopted family has been calm in their demeanor in responding to his claims. Following the 14th August petition from Michael Oher, SJ Tuohy has come forward offering words of empathy amidst the public feud.

In a conversation with Barstool Sports, SJ Touhy, the biological son of the Tuohys has spoken up following in his father’s footsteps. He says, “I get it, why he’s mad, It stinks that it’ll play out on a very public stage. That part sucks, but, oh well.” Tuohy further added, “I’ve never once talked about, truthfully, um, how much money I have made off the movie.” 

While SJ Tuohy may have candidly shared how he views the whole scenario with former Ravens OT. His father on the other has come forward with his own words. In one of the latest conversations, Sean Tuohy opened up about his feelings toward the situation.

Oher’s step-dad feels insulted by the claims

The Tuohys have spoken to the media following the court petition which was filed a couple of days ago. The adoptive father has come forward to reveal that he feels insulted by the claims that have been made against them. While talking to the Daily Memphian, he’d reveal that he feels devastated by what has been suggested against his family.

He’s added that they love him irrespective of how things are just like they loved him when he was 16. While he did admit that they adopted Michael Oher as a conservator, it is believed that the family did not have any other option if the former Panthers OT was to continue his footballing pursuits.

With the Oher and Tuohy feud is just a couple of days old, many contrasting views have already surfaced. The longer the situation persists, the bigger the cracks may appear within the Tuohy family.
