A marriage simply just does not end. It is a build-up of unspoken and difficult issues that accumulates between two partners, finally leading to separation. The same can be said for NFL GOAT Tom Brady and his divorce from his supermodel ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen. Since their divorce, the main narrative behind the split has been Bundchen’s disagreement with Brady’s decision to un-retire. The supermodel has since cleared the air on the rumors going around about their divorce. 

In an interview with Variety, she talked about how she is still willing to support Brady emotionally, despite the recent heartbreak. Addressing the reason behind the split, she talked about how it takes years of turmoil to come to such a decision, most importantly after starting and having a family together for years.

Gisele Bundchen says it’s not “all black and white”

The ex-Victoria Secret Angel opened up about the reasons that led to the couple deciding to go their separate ways after over 13 years of marriage. When the couple split in October last year, assumptions rose that it was because Brady decided to un-retire for one last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While this decision did make Gisele upset, it was not the only reason that led to the fall off with Brady.

Gisele said, “That takes years to happen.” She further said, “Sometimes you grow together, sometimes you grow apart. When I was 26 and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted to do things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make. That doesn’t mean you don’t love the person. It just means that in order for you to be authentic and truly live the life you want to live, you have to have somebody who can meet you in the middle, right?”

She talks about how the media simplified things, depicting her as having a problem with her now ex-husband’s career extension, while that couldn’t be far from the truth. She relates how it takes much more for a 13-year-old relationship to come to an end.

Bundchen making a comeback to the fashion biz after divorce

After recuperating from her divorce, Gisele Bundchen is reviving a career that she left behind to be a family woman. Despite being away from the modeling world for such a long time, she is still the epitome of beauty and grace. She made a comeback by becoming the face of a new campaign by Louis Vuitton. She then moved forward to break the internet with her shoe campaign for the Latin American shoe brand, Arezzo.

It does not seem like Bundchen is going to stop anytime soon, free to chase her own dreams and live an unfettered life. While the pain from her divorce might still be there, the model will be walking the ramp with her head held high in the future again.
