Nobody knows the Super Bowl better than the legendary Tom Brady. The QB has played the big game 10 times in his 23-year career and won it seven times. During his recent appearance on the ‘Let’s Go’ podcast, Brady talked about how injuries can affect the outcome of any football game.

“Injuries play a role in every game and your margin of error changes quite a bit. Obviously, San Fran had really no chance to compete yesterday. That was tough just to see that happen, and at the same time it’s the reality of the sport,” Brady said about the NFC championship game.

The Niners had no other option at the most important position as Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance were already out injured. So, they became a run-only team, and that made the job of the Eagles’ defense pretty straightforward.

The Niners managed just one touchdown score, and that too, while Johnson was out playing. The Eagles crushed their Super Bowl dreams with a huge 31-7 victory. So essentially, the injuries knocked the Niners out.
