Derek Carr has reportedly settled on the sum he’s expecting from a future franchise

In the last few weeks, Derek Carr has made two trips to visit potential landing spots. The QB headed to New Orleans and New Jersey for talks with the Saints and Jets. According to ESPN’s Diana Russini, Carr has set his expectations.

The QB is reportedly looking for a $35 million contract per year. With this figure, Carr would be ranked at nine on the list of the NFL’s highest-paid quarterbacks. While Carr may have suitors who are interested in signing him, the other QBs who are in the same position could drive his price down.
