After the first preseason loss to the Denver Broncos, it seems the situation has heated up in the training camps of the Dallas Cowboys. Even though coaches and management ask players to go light in the practice sessions to avoid major injuries, the players never lose their spirit for the game. The anger and adrenaline rush is the same as that of off-season take-off. America’s long-time Running Back, Ezekiel Elliott, has been firing the trading sessions with impeccable footwork and blaze.

In the recent video released by the Cowboys’ Twitter handle, the 27-year-old was rushing down the field despite receiving great resistance. He was lauded for his speed, and the ongoing sessions are pointing at the hard work before the Cowboys’ second preseason against the Los Angeles Chargers.

A few days ago, a similar video was released with Elliott taking a shot from LB Bradley Chubb, followed by a heated exchange of words. Before it became a full-blown scuffle, both of them were separated, and the session continued. Although he couldn’t perform at his best in the previous season, the Running Back is confident to enter his seventh NFL season. “I’ve been playing football 20 years,” Elliott said Wednesday at Cowboys’ camp in Oxnard.

“This is my seventh year in the NFL. I’ve seen a lot of football. I don’t think I need a preseason game, especially with the joint practices. I think if I handle my business every day, then I’ll be in a pretty good situation at the end of the season.” he added to his explanation.

Last season, Elliott became one of the seven players to surpass the 1,000-yard rushing mark. He registered ten touchdowns and rushed for 1002 yards. However, it seems the latest snippet couldn’t receive a vote of confidence from the netizens.

NFL Twitter roasts Dallas Cowboys Running Back

Ezekiel Elliott was selected fourth overall in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft. Over the years, he became an asset to America’s team. He bashed his rookie season in style, rushing for 1,631 yards and registering 15 touchdowns. As a result, he got named as the first-team All-Pro and has three Pro Bowl selections in his career.

This Twitter user believes his records have gone down in recent years.
