The Kansas City Chiefs did not like that the media and fans gave a new (temporary) nickname to their Arrowhead Stadium, Burrowhead. It only lasted for a few days because the Chiefs dominated the Cincinnati Bengals and showed them that they are their masters. Kansas City became the AFC Champion and advanced to the Super Bowl. The glorious win made the former MLB pitcher shout out loud as shown by Brittany Mahomes.

On the important day of the AFC Championship Game, Patrick Mahomes’ family members came to watch him play. In fact, no. 15’s sweet nana also made time out of her busy schedule to attend the thrilling matchup. The wife of the star QB, Brittany Mahomes, could not contain her excitement just like any other K.C. fan. The jubilant spirit also took over the elite QB’s father.

The entire K.C. was worried when they saw that their favorite quarterback hurt his ankle while he played against the Jacksonville Jaguars. For the entire week, Mahomes’ ankle was closely observed. He publicly acknowledged that after practicing for the whole week, the MVP-winner felt better than before.

However, initially, in the game, there were signs when fans saw that their champion shot-caller was experiencing discomfort. Despite the injury, he came through when his team needed him the most. He completed 29 of his 43 attempts for 326 yards and two touchdowns. On three of his carries, he gained eight yards as well; the final one led to the Kansas City Chiefs’ game-winning field goal.
